Here we are in the last couple of days in 2017 and it seems like within a blink, the year has come to an end. So much happened this year for me and my family. I look back with gratitude and surrender, knowing that everything is God's will. Part of my daily prayer is "I joyfully surrender myself over to the care of God asking and believing I am receiving knowledge of his will for me and the power to carry it out." This can be difficult at times because my timeline doesn't always match God's. I do my best to stay focused and show up each day, the best of my true self. For me that means being present, confident and connected in all things.
As 2018 begins, it is my prayer that each of you enjoy peace and healing with the love of family and friends. As our world continues to change at a frenzied pace, I'm confident there is a shift happening, with more and more people choosing time for Yoga and Meditation. But there is still a long way to go. In the coming days of the new year, you will see many ideas for moving yourself into 2018. Tips on making resolutions, manifesting your dreams, creating the life you want. While many of the tips and ideas are great to get you thinking, it is important for you to really take time to connect with what truly matters to you. It is only when we become quiet that the answers will come. Yes we can have intention and set goals, but ask yourself truly what matters to you. Not what the world tells you. What matters to you, deep in your heart, where God has placed your dreams, what truly matters? Take time to really embrace your inner being, your true authentic self, today and every day. Embrace what makes you healthy and brings meaning to your life. Continue your journey.

New Class Descriptions
Thank you for your input and suggestions as we move forward with our 2018 Business Plan. To meet the needs of our current student base and to be able to provide accessible yoga to those who feel it is out of their reach, I have updated class descriptions to include more detail so each person knows what to expect in class. Please read through each description to note the changes ~
Monday Mash-Up ~ Monday at 10:30 AM
Monday Mash-Up is a combo class featuring the healing benefits of Hatha Yoga, Yin Yoga, Chair Yoga and Restorative Yoga ~ Each class will focus on the fundamentals of alignment, building strength, flexibility and mobility. Modifications provided to make the practice accessible to all students. This class requires the student stand and to be on the floor.
Dynamic Flow ~ Monday 6:00 PM and Saturday 10:00 AM
Dynamic Flow integrates movement and breath. This class is for seasoned beginners and regular practitioners. Introducing twists, some backbends, approachable inversions, be prepared to explore both beginning and intermediate poses. Modifications are given allowing the students to choose a more beginning or more advanced practice according to their needs.
Yoga Unplugged ~ Hands FREE Flow & Restore
Tuesdays at 10:00 AM & Thursdays at 5:30 PM
Yoga Unplugged is your time to unwind with gentle hands free flow (no down dogs) & passive, supported restorative poses to nourish the body and calm the mind. Props support the body to help release tension and encourage the body's own healing power. Yoga Unplugged is the perfect balance and compliment to any fitness routine bringing harmony into your life. YOGA ~ All Levels Hatha Tuesday ~ 5:30 PM & Thursday 10:00 AM
YOGA is an Organic and Fundamental practice with focus on proper alignment and holding of poses to engage, building strength, stamina, flexibility and balance as well as improving concentration and breath control. **Good choice for beginners, great for all levels. A strong yoga practice begins with a sturdy foundation, this class can fine tune even an advanced practice. Typical poses include downward facing dog, standing poses, seated poses and balancing poses.
Pull Up a Chair Yoga for Balance and Flexibility ~ Saturday Noon
In Pull Up a Chair Yoga we practice traditional yoga poses using a chair to support our balance. Just as you might use equipment at the gym to enhance in your workout, the chair helps with balance and allows us to go deeper in many of the poses compared to standing alone. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced yogi, Pull Up a Chair builds strength in the knees, hips, back and shoulders, increase balance and flexibility. This class is suitable for all levels and including beginners, those will limited mobility or difficulty getting on the floor.
